me no NME. me no SPIN. me no Pitchfork. me no Alternative Press. me just that tiny spot in a zillion music enthusiast crowd. just wanna share this stupid choice of albums that i heard that released in 2011. may regard this as junk post,garbage post or toilet-worth-reading post. whatevuh.
and my music taste of course so biased. somehow i just listen to an artist/band because its front man is so handsome, its name is so fancy, etcetera. its genre is biased too. im too into that mainstream rock band. this is my comfort zone. next year i wanna push this boundaries.
here it is folks. number 15 to number 1:
15. You Me At Six’s Sinners Never Sleep. genre: band, punk. why i start listen to this band? a. they got fancy band name,b. lotta person i adore listen to them. psyched toward Bite My Tongue. favourite scene: when Oli took over Josh. they are goin held show in here, SHOULD I GO?? SHOULD I GO?!
14. Switchfoot’s Vice Verses. genre: band, rock. you know kinda stoked when this release. good album. contains lotta sick tracks.
13. Red Hot Chili Pepper’s I’m With You. genre: band, rock. psyched with their first single’s mv. REAL PSYCHED. this album has same threatment as wasting light.
12. Adele’s 21. genre: female solo,soul. Time’s best 2011 albums. got several grammy 54 noms. to be honest,not that so many i scrobble this album. there’s time when i stuck with this. but not that long. though it contains several uber awesome tracks. somehow its tracks just not touch my life.
11. Avril Lavigne’s Goodbye Lullaby. genre: female solo, pop. my guilty pleasure. know all her songs. avril got goddamn amazing voice and songs. all of them. i hate her lately image though. diva and all. but her lastest album is so good. i just cant ditch her from my playlist. fyi,already ditch gaga,katyperry,rihanna,and britney from my playlist.
10. Foo Fighters’s Wasting Light. genre: band, rock. got Best Rock Album nom in grammy. recorded in analog recorder. so rock and roll. i psyched with foo’s live in 606. damn want this video. sadly i just stuck with 1,2,3 track. distracted by other. yes,i should have that 606 video so that i could stuck with this by that.
9. Jay Z and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne. genre: duo, rap. i just lack of spending quality time in listening this. but assure you,this album is amazing. later yo.
8. Yellowcard’s WYTTSY. genre: band, punk. saw them live this year!! finally. my band obsession. meet them backstage too!! IM A BIG FAN OF YELLOWCARD FYI. the acoustic version is so fucking awesome too.
7. Limp Bizkit’s Gold Cobra. genre: band, nu metal. so sad i could cry that this album’s sales is so low,they got ditched by label. though im so happy that borland finally join again the family. its amazing album you know. really. i stuck that long listening to this. makes you non-stop head banging by listening to its sound.
6. Bon Iver’s Bon Iver. genre: band, indie. its all indie i could reach. HA! already listen to this band several times back then. amazing sound. best listen in midnight imo.
5. Angels and Airwaves’s Love Part 2. genre: band, space rock. why i love this band? a. tom delonge, b. band name is so fancy, c. goddamn its awesome sound. though its lyrical not so touchy. hell an album. ITS SOUND IS SO FUCKFUCK AWESOME. GEEZ. im so late in listening this album though.
4. One Ok Rock’s Zankyo Reference. genre: band, japanese rock. new geography of music. stuck that long. with the album and the band. YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS.
3. Panic! At The Disco’s Vices and Virtues. genre: band, alt rock. saw them live this year!! stuck that long with them. obsession. hell of an album.
2. Coldplay’s Mylo Xyloto. genre: band, brit rock/indie. most anticipated album of the year. i still remember when this album leaked,made my afternoon. when etiaw released i just soo not into it. but i withdrawl my thought. despite its musical is so complicated and vary. glad guitar distortion still in it. total love its lyrical. sad lyrics in rainbow sounds.
1. Blink 182′s Neighborhoods. genre: band, punk. THEY ARE BACK!! this reunion is like mix between old Blink and AVA. i love it though. there’s time when i stuck with this. its kinda that long. some songs become so personal too.
